Make up Revolution Mattes 2 palette review

I bought this palette quite a while ago and have been meaning do this review for sometime now but you know what it like!! life gets in the way sometimes!!

Anyway here goes ....................... I initially bought this for the fact that it was matte!! and it has very nice shades too, exactly what I was looking for in a palette. I was dubious about the staying power of this though due to the price, which is only £4.00 and I was right to be dubious. It didn't last very long at all on its own but when used it with my Urban Decay primer though it helped immensely, although still not fantastic.

With the primer it a good everyday eye shadow palette but unfortunately not for me it has given me a massive eczema break out on my eyelids!! I have not used it for weeks and weeks now but I still cannot shift the outbreak.......... it is a very bad case (hence no FOTDs recently)

So unfortunately this has now gone in the bin and I will just have to stick to my Urban Decay matte palette instead, that's when I can actually clear up this outbreak first, I just cant wear anything at the moment!! Has ANYONE got any advice how to help clear it up? its really really getting me down now, I've never had an outbreak as bad as this :( any advice would be very much appreciated

Just needed to shop........

Had to be done.......its been a while since my last trip to the shops.....

Dorothy Perkins boots, needed a new pair of black ankle boots. I was drawn to the quilted effect on the back, they are super comfy too.

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy in the shade Ace of spades, looking forward to trying this.
Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser Eye Concealer in nude, I find this is so quick and easy in the mornings to use with mineral foundation.
No7 Lift Luminate Eye Cream I have gone back to my old faithful, although I haven't actually used it yet as I have eczema on one of my eyelids at the moment which I just cant seem to shift. Anyone got any ideas how I can get rid of it????
Bourjois So Perfect Correcting Base Coat I bought this to try and help smooth out a few of my nails, I say a few its mainly my thumbs! I don't know if its an age thing or whether I have damaged them in the past but they are rather grooved, so I saw this and thought I would give it a try.

Maybelline Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara in medium brown. I'm hoping this is better than the Rimmel clear brow gel which I really didn't like at all, far to gloopy for my liking.
Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy top coat I bought this to go with the nail polish above.
Barry M Sunset Nail Paint in Fuchsia generation, I got this to go with the top coat I bought a couple of weeks ago........OMG!! I love it!! I've had it on for two and a half weeks now and its just starting to look tatty, I'm well impressed as my nails take a quite a bit of wear and tear working in a florists. I will definitely be purchasing more shades. I'm yet to try it with the normal Barry M polishes though, has anyone else tried them with the normal polishes???
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer You can never have to many concealers......he.....he......
Collection Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner Brown great little liner for the price, staying power is great, just not great for people like myself with hooded eyes as it did slightly transfer on to my hood. I just use it for tightlining now and its perfect. Will definitely be re-purchasing for £2.99

Last couple of things were a cardigan from H&M

and a simple green V neck jumper from Primark

That's it for now, although I am going shopping again tomorrow so possibly expect another shopping blog post soon.................he...............he...........
