October monthly favourites

  1. Si by Giorgio Armani...... I'm in love with this perfume at the moment, its very me and very floral.
  2. Flowers/Work........ As many of you already know I've gone back to work in a florist shop, hence why my blog has taken a bit of a back burner of late. Its been quite busy in the shop and no doubt will be getting a heck more busier with the run up to Christmas now but I'm absolutely loving it!!
  3. Peaky Blinders....... I know I'm way behind on this but we have just started watching the first series and are thoroughly enjoying it apart from the few dodgy Brummie accents.
  4. NYX lip glosses...... yet again another monthly favourite
  5. No7 Radiance Highlighter ....... same as above, yet another repeat monthly favourite

Not many new favourites this month as I haven't done much shopping this month I've been to busy earning money instead of actually spending it which is a very rare thing for me......he......he....... shopping trip hopefully very soon!!

InstaNatural Argan Oil For Hair Treatment & Elixir review

I was very eager to try this as many of you know I have quite dry hair that has a slight curl.  I was excited at the though of it helping to tame my sometimes unruly natural curl but I must say I was quite disappointed in the result!!

Firstly I tried the Argan oil on freshly washed dry hair, I only used one tiny pump and it sent my "very dry" hair VERY greasy!!! It was awful!! I have never ever ever had greasy hair in my life and I never ever want to have it again, I really feel for those of you who suffer with it on a day to day basis. Also that day I had left my natural curls to do there own thing, I was hoping that this would define the curls a little and just tame them slightly but if anything it totally weighed them down and actually pulled them out.
After this disaster I decided to try the oil as a treatment before washing. I put two pumps into the ends of my hair when it was dry them left it for a couple of hours. I then washed my hair. This product works a lot better pre wash but still on my natural curl it seemed to weigh it down and drag the curl out. So I have stuck to using this product with straight hair for which it is amazing for it left my hair feeling super soft.

I have used quite a few oils in my time but this is quite a heavy oil and not something I would use on a day to day basis. Maybe just keep it a treat for my hair occasionally.
Next I tried the Argan oil hair mask. It smells amazing!! It reminds my slightly of a chocolate orange. I washed my hair as usual then applied this like a usual hair mask, I left it on for around 15 minutes. Afterwards I styled my hair straight, after the fiasco with the oil I wasn't taking any chances. It seemed to leave a residue on my hair afterwards which I didn't like, so the next day after I washed my hair again, my hair felt a SO much better after the second wash. It was super soft and silky. I'm still reluctant to try this with my natural curl though as I feel it will have the same result as the oil in weighing it down.

I don't think I would re purchase these products again, I do however feel they would be fantastic for someone with quite unruly or frizzy hair.

Just Life.............

I have very much been neglecting my blog the past couple of weeks, I do apologise, sorry guys.

As many of you know who follow me on Instagram I started a new job a couple of weeks ago. I have gone back to my Floristry roots and gone back to working in an actual florist shop. I'm absolutely LOVING it even though I do feel rather rusty, hopefully it wont take me to long to get back into the swing of things. Its so wonderful to be back in a shop creating floral delights, the staff are just amazing and have made me feel SO welcome......... I just LOVE it.......... I'm a very happy bunny.....he......he........

Also besides my job I look after my Granddaughters the other days I don't work, as my Daughter has started a new career as a teaching assistant for college student who struggle academically. So I'm back to school runs which has been a little bit of a shock to the system after SO many years.

I usually try to post around three times a week on my blog but I have been struggling with this so I may have to re-think how often I post. The days I work can vary so I'm going to have to try and get ahead of myself and schedule as many posts as I can. I do admire all of you who work full-time and post regularly to your blogs I really don't know how you do it!!!! Have you got any tips?

So in these earlier days of me trying to get some sort of routine together all I ask is that if you could just bear with me and my very irregular posts. I just need to get my butt organised
