Off on my Holibobs tomorrow.....

Just purchased a couple of items for my Holiday tomorrow

Firstly! yet more Bourjois......I didn't actually need any but as many of you know I just cant resist a bit of Bourjois

Bourjois Lip Crayon £7.99 I got the shade Sweet macchiato, I love these as just a throw on colour.
Bourjois Aqua Blush £8.99 I thought I would give this a try as it claims to be 12 hour. Shade Berry Nice
Bourjois 123 CC Eye Cream Colour Correction £7.99 I've been wanting to try this for quite some time now

They were on offer 3 for 3 in Boots also I got this free

I also picked up these couple of throw away staples for around the pool

All from Primark apart from the book (obviously) they only cost a couple of pounds each

Then a few things from Dorothy Perkins

I actually got these a couple of weeks ago and I have actually forgotten how much they were....... I just know I got them when they were all on offer

I just want to apologize for the sporadic posts of late, I have had a rather hectic couple of weeks due to my Hubby being in and out of hospital, he is on the mend now luckily and we are very much looking forward to our Holiday. It is very much overdue :)

I may upload the odd post whilst away depending on the internet connection but if not you can keep up with me on Instagram or Twitter

See you all in two weeks.............

A summer essential......Smartsun wristbands

Well the weather is definitely looking as little more like summer just lately! Finally!!! I thought it was never going to arrive.
As we all know safety in the sun is paramount! I have recently stumbled across these genius little Smartsun wristbands*. They take all the worry out of when to apply your sun cream so you know exactly if you're protected or not. These are just absolutely perfect for little ones with their delicate skin.

They start out yellow, you then apply your sun cream making sure you also apply it to the band as well. Then go off and enjoy yourself, they are even safe in water. Depending on the UV levels they will start to change to a beige colour when it is time to re-apply your sun cream.
When they turn pink that's when your time is up and you've had enough sun! At the end of the day you just throw them away.

I think these are such a fantastic idea as I just HATE it when I burn even just a little, it is SO bad for you as it is thought to lead to skin cancer! which is actually the most common cancer in the UK believe it or not. Which is why I said previously they would be absolutely amazing for kids, as you can see at a quick glance if they are still protected against the sun. These are going to be tested on my two Granddaughters when they go on holiday next month.

They are available from* priced at £4.99 for a pack of 5, which works out to £1 per band which is nothing to pay knowing that your children are safe from those harmful UV rays. Very simple and very effective.

Beauty Buys

I got all of these on 3 for 2 offer at Boots......Yep......yet more Bourjois!!!
Bourjois Volume 1 Seconde Retro Summer mascara £7.99 what can I say! I'm a sucker for cute packaging!!
Bourjois Paris La Laque Nail polish £6.49 any new polishes catch my eye, I got the shade Chair et tendre a beautiful pale pink, I'm keeping my fingers crossed it does what it claims and give "full coverage in just one stroke" I find so many pale shades need at least three coats.
Bourjois Liner Pinceau Eyeliner £6.99 in Ultra black. I got this to take on holiday as I don't bother with much make up on holiday just a flick of liner, mascara and wash of lippie and I'm good to go.

I also picked this Barry-M quick dry nail polish £3.99 in the shade Full throttle, another one for my holiday.

I also picked these two up to try from Superdrug as they were both on offer
L'Oreal perfect elixir masque spray £3.47
L'Oreal EverPure Colour Care & Volume Shampoo £2.97

That's it for any more make up purchases until I go away in 4 weeks, saving my pennies for some Duty free and some lovely French skincare bargains.
