Pawsome box review

Sorry for the lack of posts last week guys, I had a very stressful week moving my Mom into her new home. It all happened very fast so last week was a bit of a whirlwind. She's all settled in now so it's back to blogging  :)

This came last week for a certain little lady........

Liluu was very kindly sent this lovely little Pawsome box last week. She got VERY excited to see what was inside, I haven't seen her that excited in ages! These cute little boxes work on exactly the same basis as numerous beauty box that around at the moment. You pay a monthly subscription and they send you a box full of goodies all for your pet whether it be a dog or a cat. Each box contains 5-6 products which include toys, snacks, training aids and hygiene accessories. The boxes are tailor made to suit the age, size, weight etc of you pet. They're are a few subscription options from monthly at £19.90 to yearly that works out to £15.90 a month.

Liluu loved her box

Like I said she got very excited, probably because of the treats in there!!

Inside there was 2 bags of treats (or sweeties as we call them :) ). A cute little bowl, 2 very appealing toys that she ADORED!! a very informative booklet and a bottle of ear drops. The ear drops are probably the only thing she doesn't actually need at the moment, but I could see where they were coming from when they put them in as her breed like many others with longer ears do have trouble with their ears occasionally.

Would I sign up for this subscription?.......yes I probably would as shes such a spoilt little poochie......he.....he......

She still cant decide which is her favourite toy.............Thank you Pawsome for making my Poochie very happy. You can check Pawsome out here

Hydraluron moisture jelly or serum?

I brought this back from my recent travels to Australia, It was way cheaper to buy it over there. I've tried the serum version of this before

You can check my review of this here.
To be honest there isn't much between these two products. Consistency wise the jelly is thicker (obviously) than the serum but they both give that fantastic moisture hit, although I don't know if it's me but the serum does seems to give a little more of that hit. I only used the serum once a day but I find I'm using the jelly twice a day.

I do however just adore the packaging of the jelly, it's so easy to use, you just push and it pumps up the right amount and the lid just snaps back on so there is no need to screw it into place. Also I love that the base of the jar pushes the product up so you can see how much you have left and although I haven't got to the bottom of the jar I'm hoping it will push all the product out and your not left with that annoying little bit in the bottom that you just cant get out. I hate it when that happens!!
I really don't like the serum packaging it's a pain screwing the cap back on ( I know I'm lazy :) ) even if it had a flip cap that would be slightly better.

Price wise they are both exactly the same but with using the jelly twice a day it obviously isn't going to last as long as the serum, so for me the serum is more economical.

So over all I think I will be re-purchasing the serum, I just wish they could also put the serum into the same packaging as the jelly! this for me would be the perfect product

Have you tried any of these products? I would love to hear your thoughts on them

NOTD......Blue abstract

This was my first attempt at using my nail art stamping plates

NOTD......Blue abstract

It wasn't the best first attempt to be honest but I thought I would share it with you all. I got the plates from eBay some time ago but have never actually got round to using them. So I though as I had a bit of time on my hands I would give them a go. I definitely need a lot more practise!!!

These were the plates, they didn't cost a lot I think they were around £3/£4, they're are lots of different sizes/styles on eBay to choose from.

I hope I can to grips with them as I  just love some of the patterns

I also used this that I bought the other day

It is a base coat to use with glitter polish , it's supposed to make it easier to get the polish off, as we all know glitter polish is an absolute nightmare to remove!!! Cant wait to try it with glitter, fingers crossed it works.

Basically its PVA glue in a polish bottle but it only cost £2.99 and my aim is just to refill it with PVA when it runs out. I used it around my nail to make the clean up from stamping a lot easier and less messy. It worked brilliantly for this, they're was hardly any cleaning to do around the nail bed.

I will let you know how I get on with this as a base coat for glitter polish very soon

Anastasia Dipbrow pomade review

What can I say about this brow product's AMAZING!!!

I bought this at the end of last year and I must say I've worn it pretty much everyday. I got it in the shade Medium brown

It comes in this glass little 4g pot. The formula is very creamy and most importantly it's waterproof!!! I wore this on holiday in Mexico and it didn't budge through the humidity or even swimming. It's pretty invincible!

Warning! scary before and after close up pics coming up.
As you can see my eyebrows are rather like my eyelashes........pretty pathetic!

The shape of them is awful and I have loads of gaps to fill in, they seem to be getting sparser the older I get. I hardly have to pluck them these days just the odd hair occasionally.
What I like about this pomade is you only need the tiniest amount on your brush so it is going to last me ages. It glides on like a dream! I use it with this brush

It's only a cheap eyeliner brush from ELF but it does the job perfectly. It's fantastic for creating small brush strokes to mimic the actual hairs. I initially tried it with a normal brow brush but it was far to thick, this gives me way more control and precision and I think looks more natural.

There are so many shades to choose from, from Blonde to Granite so something to suit everyone. It's a fantastic price to at just £15.00 and it will last me for absolutely ages.

What do you use on your brows? Have you tried this yet? I would be interested to hear if any of you have tried the Illamasqua brow gel which looks very similar, would love to know what it's like

Just a little shopping!

I went with the intention of just window shopping but that wa never going to happen was it?!? I don't know who I was trying to fool! The thing is I don't actually need a single thing but in my head I cant justify browsing the shops and not actually getting anything even if it is just a little ole nail polish. So this was me being good......

First purchase was this bag from Dorothy Perkins, I couldn't resist it and I do actually have a gap for a tan bag!........ that's what I'm telling myself anyway!

Then I popped into Primark for tights and came out with a blouse you do.......

Blouse £10.00

Lastly I went to Boots to get some hand cream for my Mum and I accidentally acquired these little cuties :)

I was drawn to the "24 hour hold", I got them in the shades Brun Dadaiste and Rose Fauviste. I will let you know how I get on with these.

I also picked up this as it was 3 for 2 on all Bourjois

I got it in the shade Taupe top, I think I may invest in a few of the other colours as the swatch a did on my hand when I bought it was tough to get off and I do struggle with eyeliner staying on with having hooded eyes.

Lastly I bought a Gel polish in Navy (Blue Lagoon), I have just the slot for this colour in my collection and I've heard quite good things about there Gel range

The only other thing I have bought recently were these brown boots from  F & F, I couldn't resist as they were reduce, since then they have been reduced yet again to £15.00

That's the end of my shopping for a while, I've got my eye on a few homey bits I want and also I have a lot of occasions coming up over the next few weeks starting with my youngest sons 21st...............Oh how they grow up SO quickly!!!!

Back from Australia

I'm back from Australia and just about back in the land of the living, the jet lag has been a nightmare!!!! Ive struggled so much to get back into my normal routine. Loved Australia just hated the travelling!!!

Here are just a few of my favorite pics
(Sorry advance warning for the beach heavy picture content)

Anyway finally back into my little world of blogging..........Oh how have missed you all so much!!!!

I've been having massive shopping withdrawal symptoms, I feel a shopping spree coming sometime very this space.....

I did manage to get a couple of things whilst I was over there, firstly was this

I couldn't let this slip through the net as it was $29.99 AUD which worked out to £15.16 ...... you know me and a bargain......he......he....... wish I had bought a couple now.

The only other thing I bought was these pretty little things

Clinique mini full potential lip glosses

I purchased these little sweeties on board the plane home for approximately £20.00, they are so cute!!! they are just the perfect size to pop in to my bag and they are even small enough to pop into a purse or clutch. I'm quite smitten with these lip glosses as they aren't really that sticky at all and they last quite a long time which for me is good as I'm must eat them as they just don't seem to last on my lips at all.

That's about it from me for's nice to be back
