My current skincare

I just changed up my skincare routine for the winter months
Here is my morning routine so far

  1.  Firstly I cleanse with Liz Earles Hot cloth cleanser I've recently started using this, I know I'm probably the last person on the bandwagon with this one...... but that's me ....he.....he.... I'm not a 100% keen on the initial scent it very much reminds me of vics vapor rub! but fortunately that soon goes. It leaves my skin feel SO supper soft. I'm officially in love with this I can see why its one of their best sellers.
  2. Next I spray my face with this Botanics rose water toner, which I am currently looking to replace. I preferably want something with out alcohol in it so if any of you have any suggestions they would be gratefully appreciated
  3. Then my Eucerin anti wrinkle eye cream, I like this as it doesn't irritate my eyes at all
  4. Last but not least my Eucerin volume day cream that contains SPF15, I do like the Eucerin range its especially good on my very sensitive skin.

  1.  First thing I use is my Garnier micellar make up remover, I love how it just melts off my eye make up instantly! It doesn't irritate at all
  2. Next up is cleanser, as step 1 above
  3. After cleansing is another recent addition, Nip + fab exfoliating pads, I just tend to use these just in my night time routine
  4. Next is my eye cream, I leave this for a few mins to soak in
  5. Now this is where I have a temporary gap in my routine. I am also on the hunt for a really good night serum. At the moment I'm tempted by the Liz Earle serum. I think I might get a miniature size and try it first, I love miniatures as my skins so sensitive I can try products before buying them which is fantastic and saves me so much money!! The amount of products I've given away because they don't get on with my skin!!
  6. Lastly my night cream which at the moment is Eucerin anti wrinkle night cream

Last but not least are other items I use but not on a daily basis

Occasionally at night I use my Fushi Coconut oil all over my face and neck this gives my skin a massive moisture hit every now and again, it just works its magic whilst I'm sleeping. Its also great when I have little eczema break outs, it helps no end. One of the best multi purpose products ever!!

Lush let the good times roll, which is my favorite, smells divine!!! and Time delay from Boots which is more of a gentler exfoliator.

Lush oatifix, I do like the fresh face masks from Lush! I recently bought this Super facialist mask, I'm a sucker for anything that says "hydrate" on the packaging as my skin can get as dry as a desert sometime!!! I'm still a little on fence with this one though because although it says "suitable for even the most sensitive skin" it does actually sting slightly when I first apply it. I think it may be the "rose" in it which is quite pungent!! I'm not a massive rose scent person really that and lavender too, I'm not keen at all.

That's about it so far for my current skincare. I don't spend an absolute fortune as I find a lot of the higher end products react with my skin especially quite a few of Estee Lauders range. This is why I tend to use a lot of Eucerin products because I no it's safe for me to use.

So.......... if you have any recommendations regarding the toner and the serum please let me know, I would love some suggestions

My collective Autumn purchases

Black ankle boots, these are supper comfy and a bargain at £18.99

Fringed Kimono £14.00, the material on this is quite nice and I love the pattern. Who knows how long the tassels will last though....he.....he......

Blue ballet shoes £5.00, probably wont get much wear out of them now as its going into sock season but at least they will see me through next Spring.

Basic long sleeved tops the prices range from £3.50 - £4.00, I love the mustard one!

It wouldn't Autumn without a new scarf thrown in the mix £4.00

Dorothy Perkins

Pleated skirt, I got this on offer for £9.90, I adore plum and purple shades and I dont own a pleated midi so this ticked both boxes for me.

Tan brogues, again these were on offer for £10.00, still unsure whether to keep these or not.

H & M

Leopard print top £7.99, loose fitting slouchy top.

These are a few things I've collected over the last couple of weeks. I'm going to try and not buy a single of item of clothing now until the January sales.....could prove to be difficult!!!....he....he....

NOTD Nude-ish

This is the first polish I have put on my nails since I split my little nail in half which some of you may of seen on Instagram. Its been very weird they have felt so naked!!! So I though I would go nude as it's very short. Its not this one its my other hand, this little nail is fine. I originally painted them all nude but it did look quite boring so I added a bit of colour.

Nude - Sally Hansen 220 Cafe au Laite
Brown - Barry M Matte Mocha
Metalic - OPI Designer de Better

I don't think this will long at all! as I'm not that happy with it to be honest it was just of a make do sort of thing as I was so bored of looking at my naked nails!!! Loving the Sally Hansen formula though I only bought this the other day.

Recent Beauty buys

These are just a few things I've picked up over the past couple of weeks

Shade No 7 Nude-ist, although it’s got Nude in the name it certainly isn’t what I would call nude!! Gorgeous creamy matte shade though. It was £8.99 in Boots but I popped round to Superdrug where it was only £5.00.....happy days....he....he....

From Cult Beauty shade Soft brown. This was in my September favourites the other day. I’m just so in love with it. Its not very often I do this but as you can see I couldn't wait to use it so the photo came afterwards....... bad impatient blogger moment :)

And from Lush
Let good times roll £6.75 A gorgeous scrub, it smells SO divine!!! Just like popcorn but better

Oatifix £6.50 beautiful soothing mask, perfect for my dry/sensitive skin

Can’t walk out of Lush without a bath bomb or two :)
Blackberry bath bomb £3.25   I really really like anything berry scented
Honey bee £3.35 this one is actually for my Grand children they love them too

In shade Taupe, a nice rich creamy matte shade, great for a smokier eye look or just to throw on when I can't be bothered, which to be honest is most that said it will no doubt get a lot of use

This was another you all know I can’t resist them!! It was two Bourjois products for £14.00 in Boots. I got these to try, I don't usually get on with waterproof mascaras but as I'm going on holiday soon I thought I would give this one a try as it was on offer.

What are your recent beauty purchases? Have you purchased any of the above, if so I would love to know what you think of them
