Floral Fancy

I was recently contacted by Bonmarche to see if I would review one of their item from their new range. I cannot lie at first I thought "Bonmarche"!!! my mother shops there, that's for older people! there cannot possibly be anything that I would like. So with wise words from a good friend I decided to just go and take a look online at their new collection and to my surprise I actually liked one of their dresses. It is a David Emanuel design and as I have a christening coming up shortly I thought why not.

This is the dress I Rose print dress *

I plan to wear it with these nude shoes and bag

I did like this other one that was in the collection too

Which is exactly the same design but different colours

I'm glad I chose the one I did as I love the lace part in the pattern

The dress was only £28.00 which I thought was great value as it is fully lined.
It hangs very nicely and the slight ruching on the tummy area is great for ladies like myself who are a little (or a lot in my case!!) self conscious of that area.

All in all I was actually quite impressed with this dress
Unfortunately they don't seem to have any left in stock at the moment
But if you like this style of dress I would definitely go and check out there other prints

Would I shop at Bonmarche again?......

I'm not sure......maybe if I needed a dress for an occasion I would go and take a peek.

Have you ever thought to look in Bonmarche or ever purchased anything from there?

Just wanted to say.......

I just want to say a big thank you for all your lovely comments and support on my last post.

I've had a fantastic response to my new venture so far, I've already got two weddings booked and a business proposition in the pipeline. Its all very exciting :)

So as I have spent the past week or so creating my website
(which I'm quite proud of as I did it all by myself :) ) my blog has been a little neglected.....sorry guys.
Today is no exception either as I am in the middle of painting my Lounge, hopefully it will be finished tomorrow and I can get back to my normal blogging routine.

Anyway back to it, the end is in sight.....at last!!

Thank you again everyone for your lovely comments
If you get chance if you could give me a like on my business Facebook page that would be amazing

Wye not!

This weekend we spent a lovely weekend in the Wye valley in a little place called Offa's cottage
just outside St Briavels

(Sorry this post is very photo heavy, I couldn't help it, it such a beautiful place)

The cottage was beautiful both inside and out

We even had a yummy welcome

Who could refuse :)

We decided to go out for a ramble just after to try and burn off some of the calories

They're are so many walks in and around this area
I'm so glad I got to see my bluebells, I just adore them, the smell was absolutely magnificent

Saturday the weather was ....... shall we say typically English!!
We didn't actually venture very far, mainly to a pub for lunch

Sunday the weather was a little better so we went for a little walk along the river Wye

We both had a fantastic weekend
Even the dog loved it

Double Mac please!

Finally ............ at last I've got a Mac lipstick

but not just one but actually 2
They are both lustre shades
They were on offer last week 2 for £20.00 in Debenhams and as I had a £5 voucher it was an offer
I couldn't refuse
2 lipstick for the price of one!!!!! I was such a happy bunny

I also had a gift card for Boots so I popped in there and picked up this

I then run into Matalan, somewhere I don't very often go in but last time I went in there I picked up a little black cami for £6.00 and I wanted another but in a different colour so I chose this one

And I also picked up these for £6.00

I'm such a sad person that I'm so happy that I now own a Mac lipstick
What are your favorite Mac shades?

Linked up with the very lovely Renae from Simple Sequins
